PRODUCT CARE

At Bee & Kin we use genuine Italian leather and artisanal materials in our products. Any slight variations in color or texture are part of the natural craftsmanship process and are not considered defects.

 

To care for all products, gently wipe your accessory with a smooth cloth.

 

On leather products, you clean the surface with a solution of warm water and dish soap. Dip a soft cloth into the soapy water, wring it out and gently wipe them. Use a second clean, damp cloth to wipe off the soap. Dry with a towel. The use of bleach or other cleaners is not recommended.

 

Your accessory will look its best if it is stored in its dust bag. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures may affect the appearance of your bag.

Bee & Kin accepts the following methods of payment on our website: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and Paypal. Bee & Kin giftcards are also accepted.

 

SHIPPING

Bee & Kin is proud to offer free ground shipping on all orders within the continental United States. Other shipping rates within the US are as follows:

  • UPS 2nd Day Air $35
  • UPS Standard Overnight $65

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are excited to provide shipping to most countries outside of the US for $35. If you need a rush shipment outside of the US, please contact buzz@beeandkin.com for availability and pricing.

 

After you place an international order with Bee & Kin, we will send you a form which outlines our policies regarding taxes and duties. We will need you to return the form with your signature to buzz@beeandkin.com for the order to be processed. 

 

ORDER DELIVERY AND TRACKING

Upon checkout, an email confirmation of your purchase will be sent. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a second email with the UPS tracking number so that you may track your order. Unless a rush delivery option is selected, orders typically ship within 2 business days. Note that during busy shipping periods, such holidays or sales, orders may take slightly longer to ship. Orders shipped via UPS Ground generally arrive in 3-5 business days.

 

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

In the event that your order is lost, stolen or damaged en route to the shipping address provided, Bee & Kin will provide a replacement(s) at no charge. If a package is safely delivered, but is lost, stolen, or damaged after arriving at the shipping address, Bee & Kin is not responsible for the loss incurred.

 

REPAIRS AND BATTERY CHANGES

Bee & Kin is glad to offer repairs assistance on product that may be damaged during its lifespan. We offer free repairs on merchandise less than one year old. To initiate a repair, please email buzz@beeandkin.com

 

The customer is responsible for shipping the accessory in need of repair to us using the courier of their choice. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept in-person drop-offs at this time. Once your item has been repaired, we are happy to provide free shipping back to you.

 

For items older than one year, we may need to charge you for the repair depending on the extent of the damage. If you purchased the bag online or at a Bee & Kin event, we can easily find the date you received the bag. If the bag was purchased through another retailer, we will need a copy of the original receipt to verify the age of the bag. In the event that there is a charge, we will contact you to confirm the amount and collect payment before repairing the accessory. We will attempt to contact you for two weeks after receiving and inspecting your item. If you cannot be reached, or choose not to pay for the repair, we will simply send the bag back to the address you provided on the repair form.

 

To change the battery on your Flic, please read the instructions here. Should you prefer that Bee & Kin changes the battery, please email us at buzz@beeandkin.com, and we will gladly change the battery for you and provide a new battery for free.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

Uh oh! In the unlikely event you think the product you received is defective, please contact buzz@beeandkin.com with a thorough description of the issue and several clear images of the defect, if possible. Note that we use authentic leather and other artisanal materials, so variations in appearance are considered part of the natural production process and not a defect.

 

RETURNS - US

Bee & Kin will accept returns on merchandise purchased through the website within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund, less shipping charges. Any merchandise submitted for return must be in its original condition and packaging with the tags attached. We reserve the right to refuse any shipment that does not meet these requirements. For all orders shipped to the United States, please use the return label provided in your shipment. If you are unable to find the return label, please contact buzz@beeandkin.com.

 

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For any packages shipped outside of the United States, the recipient is responsible for the cost of shipping merchandise they wish to return back to our warehouse. The customer is also responsible for any duties on the return shipment. Any customs fees that are charged to Bee & Kin will be deducted from the amount of your refund. In addition, a refund will be issued only after the merchandise is received by our warehouse. Bee & Kin is not responsible for any delays caused by international or US customs. REFUNDS

We will send you an email as soon as your return is processed. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 5 business days and applied to your original method of payment. Please note that it often takes several weeks for a credit to show on a credit card account. If you have any questions regarding the status of a refund to a credit card, please check with your credit card company. In the event that your return is not approved, we will be in touch with our explanation and will send the item back to you.

 

Note that if your order was placed within the United States, all sales tax will be refunded. For orders placed outside of the US, we do not refund shipping costs, duties, or local taxes. International customers may be able to obtain a refund on duties and taxes by contacting their local customs office.

 

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Bee & Kin understands that it can be REALLY annoying if you buy something and it goes on sale shortly after your purchase. We will be happy to offer a price adjustment on any item that goes on permanent markdown within 14 days of placing an order. Note that we are unable to offer price adjustments for flash sales or shipping promotions.

 

FINAL SALE

All items sold at a discount greater than 50% are considered final sale. If you are unsure if the item you purchased is eligible for return, please refer to the invoice in your shipment or contact buzz@beeandkin.com
